In the underbelly of MadCity, the shadows are more than just darkness - they're alive, ancient, and whispering.

Violet Yiu, known to the world as Vanta, is a government-licensed superhero and a founding member of The Sentinels. But before the fame, she was raised by a secretive cult that worships a forgotten demon named Narak'Thul - a past she barely escaped, and one that never truly let her go.

When a series of ritualistic killings point to the reawakening of the cult, Vanta is pulled back into the world she tried to bury. A cryptic symbol found beneath the city leads her to a long-abandoned subway station, where she discovers that the cult has returned - stronger, more fanatical, and obsessed with reclaiming her as their prophesied weapon.
