Son of the Torchbearer

When a young boy with the power of telekinesis and magic is kicked out of his house, and kills a hellhound at a very young age, and is then kicked out of his orphanage as well, he learns to develop his magic and survive on his own for years, until he has strange dreams about a piece of paper talking about a "Camp Half-blood Long Island, New York," and a phone number. Taking his chances, he calls the phone number, officially entering the world of gods and demigods and he makes a surprisingly easy trip to Camp Half-blood just before the events of Percy Jackson the Lightning Thief.
