erica was an formerly human that reincarnated as an szacemov in disguise as an humanoid...she went through so much shit that she went from an innocent teen to an paranoid stressed leader of an "gang"(no crimes btw)...she knows too much and just simply hides the feeling of burden in her mind so no one else suffers what she had gone through...


zollee was an ordinary szacemov in planet gelektopia,a part of alpha onz's pack,loyal to the queen szacemov,and just hunt for survival...well that was the OLD norm for him until he became human due to being electrocuted via chewing on an device...bad idea...now he has to pretend to be an normal human while secretly going on dangerous adventures with his(zollee) "outside friends" while having to die multiple times and being revived every times while getting a bit worse physically sometimes due to the moments of revive machine malfunctioning...

Chapter 3: In "Interrogation", young archivist Zaraz is asked to record and transcribe the interrogation of Regicide--the famous supervillain and archenemy of King Soul. The villain makes a lot of wild claims about King Soul's past, but surely they couldn't be true. Chapter 4: in "CRISIS of Faith" It wasn't easy for humanity to accept the existence of superhumans. But our narrator was lucky enough to be born in a time of peace between those with and those without powers. There are systems in place which help keep interactions running smoothly. That's the intention, at least.

Zoom goes after the mysterious biker, and saves them in battle against the Sark and Vandals. The biker being injured, gives him the battle key, knowing she could trust him. He leaves, and promises he will come back for her. Going against direct orders from Vert, Zoom stole the battle key, only to go save Shard from her banishment, and allow her to see her parents, and two brothers again. While also falling in love in the process. But one day, a mysterious new Vandal appears, and is fighting with the BF5. This Vandaless is interesting, and Sage can see something different in her, but cannot identify what it is. Kala helps them fight, and stop the red Sentients, before every world is destroyed. Who knows, maybe she will fall in love toooooooooo. (Who knows?) But what happens when one member gets caught by Zemerick, and fights against their own team? Read to find out... The 'things' are as you would call it zombies but of greater skill. They disguise themselves as humans yet they will not hesitate to kill you and eat you. If someone is a 'thing', automatically presume them dead, or at least soon to be dead. It will always take about 2 weeks to become fully changed, hopefully you can chop of that body part in time for the infection to stop. If you can't, put an end to your soon to be painful and horrible turn/death. These beings as I announced only a moment ago, look exactly like a human, two way to tell if they are one or not, their attitude and their eyes. They don't have emotions, only hunger and let me tell you, they will go out of their way to eat you, they will speak but it will sound different... Deformed almost. The eyes are usually the first to become infected, they become slightly red at first, as time progresses so does the intensity of the color red in the eye. The color in their eyes they once possessed, will seem dull, it will seem as if they are unfocused or unfamiliar with their surroundings. Dangerous wildlife. Tensions between factions whose effects cannot be avoided, even in the middle of nowhere. And a haunting past. In short... business as usual. Time to get to work. This story is a bit like Arknights meets Death Stranding, since the job of a 'Catastrophe Messenger' and general situation is strangely similar to a 'Porter'. It will operate almost completely independently from the plot of the game itself. This story is thus aimed more towards readers who like to immerse themselves into a unique perspective of the world of Arknights and not into a recreation of the in-game plot. So if you like Arknights, but can't wrap your head around the game's plot, then this story should fit for you. (Definetly not an excuse for the fact that the author is just interested in the general worldbuilding itself and not the game's plot directly.) As such, mistakes are to be expected, for this is my first experimental dive into the world of Arknights. Feel free to correct them if found. Back by popular request! The 2017 rough draft of The Virus Within! (Caution: Contains massive plotholes that were fixed in the polished The Virus Within Series. Grammar issues are present, particularly missing commas.) What do you do when you are one of the infected? The virus in my blood is trying to steal my humanity. It alters my very thoughts and reactions. It taunts me by tempting me with desires that it planted in my brain. These bloodthirsty desires would lead to my demise if I ever gave in. I have more in common with the zombies than with humans at this point. Even the fallen zombies accept me as one of their own. Blood is required to retain my grip on sanity, but the sweet-smelling blood from humans is a short path to madness. Human blood is to be avoided at all costs. Humankind around the world was driven close to extinction by the sudden appearance of the zombies, yet small groups of survivors constantly manage to appear and put my control to the test. -------------------------- This is a standalone zombie book. It has nothing to do with A Different Virus. I wanted to try a book with an easily irritated main character and a nutcase secondary character.
