Vampires feed on humans, werewolves hunt vampires, stalkers hunt them both, and humans have a deep mistrust for all three. The world is divided between the three factions, vampires, werewolves, and stalkers, all who rule over the humans in their lands, with varying attitudes towards those humans. 

Thorn is an ancient vampire. But he doesn't feed. So he is weaker than a vampire of his age should be. But he is not weak, not by any means.

Amber is a halfbreed. Her mom is a stalker, and her dad is a werewolf. Both her halves want to kill vampires. And yet, due to what she is, vampires hate her the least. 

There is no place in the world for a halfbreed, so Amber and her family are constantly on the move, hiding what they are and never staying in one place for too long. Things aren't perfect, but they could be worse. Until they are found. They strayed too far into the vampire lands, and they get caught. The only one who escapes is Amber. Not knowing where to go, or what to do, Amber keeps running and running, until she eventually passes out.

When she wakes up, she is in a room. And she smells a vampire. But why is she still alive?All Rights Reserved
