You cringe at the loud noise of the ice maker, but it's not like it's going to wake anyone up. His eyes don't leave your body, even as you sip off the cup and he does the same.
"If you take a picture, it will last longer," you say, dryly, even though your throat is far from. Confusion settles over his features for just a moment before he sets his empty glass down. You shrug, downing your glass and filling it back up. "Staring is kind of rude."
