Heres the thing about life. It ends. Those good moments. The none stop laughter with your friends, belly aching laugher. The late night talks with that one person, the one person that you could never get sick of listening. The voice that calms the aching in your heart, or the voices in your head. Calms the thoughts that hurt you. Because those talks keep you sane. That person, the one that is so selfless that they help even the most helpless of people stay afloat. Those summer drives. You know, head out the window, smelling the fresh air. The air that fills your lungs to the brim, holding it in so long, just because it feels so good to breathe. The air by the ocean, down the country roads. Drives through the city looking at endless lights. It all feels so right in the moment, you want to stay there forever. Even those are tainted. Even those come to an end. Even those good even great moments in your life, are swallowed by that endless feeling. This isn't the story you tell your friends about for relatability, or laughs. Not one you can read over and over again. Not one to cherish. This is just simply... a story. Let's start at the beginning. Where it all started. Before the belly clenching laughter, the late night talks, the fresh air, the drives, the lights, that person. Before they were all swallowed right up.

They say love begins in silence... but no one ever warns you how deeply it hurts when that silence never ends. This is not a love story. It is a story of almosts - of late-night conversations that lingered too long, unspoken feelings that grew too heavy, and eye contact that somehow meant everything... yet nothing at all. She loved him quietly. And when she finally tried to speak, he never listened in the way her heart needed him to. So she became patient. She became understanding. She became everything for him... except chosen. And somewhere between unsent messages, mixed signals, and words left hanging in the air, she realized something heartbreaking- Love does not always destroy you loudly. Sometimes... it slowly drowns you in silence.
