There was a time when Ayda Seger was John Doe's equal.

They were beaten together, they suffered together, they ruled New Bostin together.

But some things were never meant to last.

After waking up from a coma none other than the boy she'd trusted most had put her in, Ayda never thought she would see him ever again. But fate had other plans for her. And when her family's roots bring her right back to Wellston, it doesn't take long for her to realize that the past is something no one can hide from. Not her. Not her family. And certainly not John Doe.

In the end, the only thing Ayda can do against it . . . is make sure it cannot break her.

With Blyke and Remi's well beings on the line, John has to make a decision to either become the man his wishes to be, or to remain the cold king he was before. How will this unforeseen event build and destroy bridges that were once thought to be unbreakable, and those that were thought to be permanently broken. (All Events take place as John is returning to Wellston and he begins to realize that Seraphina is hiding things from him, however, John has not made any attempt yet to join the Safe House and the clubs trip is still in the planning phase.) John has a cousin who also attends Wellston, and who has dethroned Arlo. He rules similarly to Rei, discouraging bullying and doing his best to break the distance between the tiers, but nothing seems to work. Then, he gets wind that his cousin has enrolled as a cripple, and has successfully befriended the second-most powerful student in the school: Seraphina. Urging John to reveal his power and help him break the distance, he does everything in his power to bring John, not into the hierarchy, but to accept himself and his past. But what happens when the jack, Arlo, overhears their discussion? Will John become the Joker? Or will he accept his power with the help of his cousin? That's for me to know, and you to find out. Note: Many of these characters belong to Uru-Chan. I am simply reimagining them in new circumstances.
