"The First I Love You" is a story about two boys-Lionel, a percussionist who overthinks everything, and Albern, a clarinetist who's quieter than he lets on-falling for each other between rehearsals, writing class, and late-night calls that last a little too long.
It's about lockers and after school meets, inside jokes and unsent messages. It's about how love doesn't always shout-it sometimes whispers, lingers, and waits for the right moment to be heard.
Over five months, they go from awkward hellos to honest confessions. And somewhere between September, the month they meet, and Valentine's Day following that, they figure out what it means to say "I love you;" and mean it.

This is a sequel to the story 'I. Am. Done.', but we are trying to do it the way that you don't have to necessarily read the original story. And that is because we know that some of you don't like depressive/self-harming content. Summary from the original; Kit had a rough childhood, he was bullied and didn't have much friends.
