Nova disguise as a boy to enter the military school. If she is discovered as a girl, she will be kicked out. She is desperate to hide from trackers who have been following her for a dozen years. No one would think to look for her in an all-male military school. She hides among werewolves and is one of the very few nonshifters at the school. She catches the new instructor's curiosity, and her identity is threatened. He claims to be her mate, but she knows that her kind don't have a mate and desperately tries to avoid him. If he stumbles upon her true identity, she is screwed. "What are you doing?!" growls his highness, ripping the knife from my hands. It tingles as his fingers close around my wrist. Fresh blood flows from the wound, turning his hands red. Deep throaty sounds, rumbling in his chest. "You hurt yourself," he says softly, pain evident in his voice. I look up and frown. "It's just a small cut," I reply, annoyed. None of the other cadets get this kind of attention. Besides, we have to learn this to pass the exam. "Shhh, it's going to be okay," he says, pressing me close. My whole side explodes with sparks. It tickles me. "You have to stop hurt yourself. Why are you even here? How am I going to protect you here?" he asks angrily. "I don't need your protection!" I shout, pushing him away. I get an angry growl back. Quickly I grab another knife and throws it over my shoulder, hitting bulls' eye. He glares at me, and the room has gone completely silent. That's when I discover that I may have gone too far with the insanely possessive highness, even though I'm grateful for the extra lessons he gives me. Then suddenly everyone hurries out of the training area. Leaving me alone with the growling, red eyed alpha. 8 years ago, vengeful magicfolk, tired of the discrimination and culling of their kind, rose up against the plainfolk kingdom in the north after a devastating curse swept through the kingdom. Now, a young witch with a past to hide, tries to live a peaceful life in solitude, but yearns to attend the new mage academy. After a long period of laying low, fate would call upon her once again, this time in the form of a peculiar masked stranger from a faraway land. A/N: I started writing this as lore for my original character and it spiraled into a whole new universe with new characters. I don't really read much, so my partner helped a lot in terms of brainstorming and editing. It's written for fun, so have fun reading!

"I am one of them, baby and I will protect you with my life!" Was the sentence that made me fall down my knees and believe him, give him all I could give but it wasn't easy. I didn't choose this life. I don't want it but when I saw him I just thought that maybe, just maybe, he'd be the one who'd take all the pain of my past away with a small kiss of his kissable lips. At least that was what I expected. Perhaps, the devil that pushed me in hell, got sick of me enjoying it there and he sent me someone that looks so angelic when he smiles to make me feel like I'm in heaven. But sadly, as soon as I leaned in to kiss his lips, I realized that just looking in his eyes, I'd feel in heaven but looking around and seeing all those demons, my demons, smirking at me, knowing they won because I let him in but he was just one of them when I thought he was different. At the end of the day, I was just a maid in his father's house but I didn't look at it that way when I fell for him and that was how I lost myself. -Read to know how she lost herself, who is the angle and the devil, how did her demons won when she was trying so hard to run away from them.
