The war has begun, the deterioration of life as we know it.
Ocean still struggles to forget about her past traumas; the haunting effect has grown. She had long since, however, given in to the fear of her own emotions. The abrupt ending of the world had just given the pedestal to another type of fear, a more deadly kind. The infection had spread widely, like an all-consuming wildfire, and the outside world had been overtaken.

The search for her aunt continues, but now she isn't alone. She has made a new family as well, a mismatched group of people fighting to survive.
