"Look, I didn't want to be a half-blood." My brother started.

"But do you think we have a choice in life? Take you're pick on what the answer is, dear reader." I finished.

Being a half-blood is terrifying. It gets you gone before you even think about the future you're gonna live because there probably won't be one.

"Our Mum, is she really . . .?"

If you're a normal kid, reading this because you think it ain't real. Lucky you. Read on. And leave the rest of us to be traumatized.

"He was kind, Percy and Anne." She said. "Tall, handsome and powerful. But gentle too. You have his balck hair, y'know, but you were the only one who got his green eyes, Percy."

But if you recognise yourself in these pages.

"Where are we going?"

If you feel something stirring inside.

"Percy!"

Stop. Reading. NOW.

"A pose?" Annabeth asked warily.

"A photograph. I will use it to model a new statute set. Children are so popular, you see. Everyone loves children.

"Some in an odd way . . ." I said.

You might be one of us, kid. And once you know that . . .

. . . It's only a matter of time before they sense it too, and they'll come after you.

My hands trembled at the king of the underworlds demand. "Spongebob, open the bloody backpack before I do."

Don't say we didn't worn you.

I watched as he slung it off his shoulder and unzipped it. Inside was a sixty-cenimetre-long metal cylinder, spiked on both ends, humming with energy.

"You drool when you sleep."

"The other side Nico! We will see you there. Understand?" Nico's eyes widened. "But-" "Lead them there!" Percy shouted. "Promise me!" „I-, I will." Nico watched in horror how Percy promised Annabeth to always stay together, to never be apart again. Then, Percy let go and he and Annabeth fell down. All around, he could hear the others shouting and running to help. All too late, Percy and Annabeth were gone. Suddenly, Nico heard another sound. A strange crackling was increasingly more and more prominent, until it drowned the voices of the remaining five. Before he realized what was happening, the ground beneath his torso was crumbling away, larger and larger pieces were disappearing in the hungry darkness below. Nico did not have time to react. The next thing he knew, he was falling too. OR Three demigods fall into Tartarus after finding the statue of Athena Parthenos. For better or worse, it is not the first time for Nico. This fic will contain themes and mentions that may be triggering, please read the warnings and tags I used and proceed at you own discretion. English is not my first language so I apologise in advance for any mistakes. This is my first work in this fandom and I am not done reading all the books in the Percy Jackson universe so I would like to ask for your understanding in case I got anything wrong. I do not own any characters I have used in my story, this is purely a work of fan fiction. Hope you will enjoy reading :) Credits to the cover goes to respective artists.

This was officially the most uncomfortable day of Percy's life. ----- "Percy, I don't know what happened to you when you were young, but denying that it ever happened isn't the answer." It'd worked pretty well for him so far. "Who said anything about denying it?" he asked. The look Apollo gave him felt almost parental. He pointed in the direction of the throne room. "How many of them know about any of this?" he asked. The demigod shifted uncomfortably. "None." "Exactly." "Really?" Will asked. "Not even Annabeth?" Percy shrugged. "Look, those bruises don't come from nowhere," Apollo said. "Whatever happened to you had to have been serious." "It was. It was messed up," Will interrupted, laughing darkly. Percy shot him a glare. They were supposed to be playing this down, not making it worse. ------ "What," Percy scoffed, "and I'm just supposed to trust you?" ++You don't have a choice. A magic talking book with all your secrets written out like a YA novel appears and starts ordering you around, and you're not going to listen to it?++ To that, he didn't have an answer. ++Kid, I am your god++ Percy deadpanned. "You're a book," he corrected. Annabeth gave him a look. "Don't patronize them," she whispered. ------ I took the reading the books trope and gave it a little fine wine with its dinner. Time to grow up, kid. Streching of canon. Warning: Crass language used, discussion of child abuse physical & sexual, mentions of drug use, mentions of underage drug use. Specific warnings at the beginning of each chapter Cover art is not mine. Neither is the Percy Jackson series.
