Nora's life has never been easy. She has been abused and mistreated all of her life. At the age of 16, she became a single teen mom who was kicked out of her own house. Now at the age of 18, she only has one option to keep a roof over her and her daughter's heads. She has to sell herself to a bunch of men so she can get the money. While all of this is happening, she is also still attending high school. However she has convinced everyone at school that she is unable to talk. Everyday is a struggle for Nora.
Her life gets turned upside down when she is assigned partners with the school's jock, Cole Fray. Their project is to get to know each other and write an essay about the other person. Nora is forced to work with Cole. While working on their project, Nora finds out a lot of things about Cole that she didn't know and some might even change her mind about him. However, just when everything starts looking up, a familiar face shows up and she finds out something about Cole that will destory her.
Will she survive through all of this? Or will she break before the end of the assignment?
