Starry-eyed freshman Eric Carr has big dreams of becoming an illustrator/animator and even bigger hair. One thing's certain: he and his new roommate, Bruce Kulick, long to join a rock band someday. Two childhood best friends, Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, deal with the stigma of being inner-city kids on a full-ride scholarship in wildly different ways, while long-suffering RAs Tommy Thayer and Vinnie Vincent struggle to balance their burning desire to cut loose and have fun with the wilder-than-fiction realities of responsibility.
