Mature
Cassius Thales is a young, overworked tech professor with too many degrees, too many late-night experiments, and one very opinionated pet rat. He's never been great with people-but then again, people don't usually lean across his desk with sly smiles and leave cryptic sticky notes on his syllabus.

Enter Sam: effortlessly eerie, infuriatingly charming, and definitely not enrolled in any of Cas's classes. He's the campus shopkeeper-or at least, that's what he says. Cas isn't sure if Sam is flirting with him, haunting him, or both.

Between malfunctioning lab gear, magical oddities, and dangerously close proximity during "office hours," Cas is starting to realize: the real mystery might be what Sam wants from him... and why Cas kind of hopes he never stops showing up.

Absent Grace // Sabriel

21 parts Complete

After saving Gabriel -- the supposedly dead archangel -- from Abbadon's cruel grasp, Sam finds himself in a completely alternate world. Literally. He's not a Hunter. Instead, he lives alone with a dog, his brother is engaged to the angel that pulled him from Hell, and he apparently works a normal job. Oh, and not to mention Gabriel. He's there too; he's the reason they're stuck there in the first place. They can't leave until Gabriel gets enough grace back to send them to the real world, but that could be months, and if it's not obvious yet, the angel is the last person that Sam wants to see. --- I don't own Supernatural or any of the characters featured in this fic, as much as I wish I did
