Camryn Wells wasn't trying to rebuild her life so much as outrun the version of it that nearly destroyed her. After a year and a half off the grid, nursing wounds no one could see and some that still ached like hell, she's back in Pittsburgh. Sort of. She's here for Gwen, the woman who adopted her, who's now fading into early-onset dementia. She's on night shift, working trauma at PTMC, trying to remember the nurse she used to be-and to convince her small army of overprotective siblings that she's fine now. That she's not the broken girl they saw in that hospital bed in Boston. Camryn is sunshine incarnate: bright-eyed, too kind, stubbornly hopeful, and despite everything, still believes in second chances. What she didn't plan on? Her new next-door neighbor just happens to be the gruff, quiet, unflinchingly calm ED attending who runs her shift with surgical precision... and dry quips that cut sharper than a scalpel. Dr. Jack Abbot doesn't do distractions. Not from interns. Not from administration. And definitely not from the impossibly cheerful nurse who crash-landed into his backyard and, somehow, into his life. Guarded, fiercely competent, and more at ease in chaos than comfort, Jack prefers solitude-until Camryn. With her pastel mugs, man-hating cat, and maddening habit of calling him out with a smile, she worms her way into every corner of his neatly boxed-off world. She's not what he expected. And he's exactly what she wasn't ready for. But on the night shift, where everything broken comes through the door eventually, maybe they'll both learn healing doesn't always look like what you thought.

Genre: | Medical Drama| Slow Burn | Workplace Romance| Marriage of convenience | contract marriage |Divorce| Setting: Harmony & Care Hospitals. Seattle,USA. --- Description: The hospital called him a genius. Patients called him a miracle. But behind the crisp scrubs, cold eyes, and perfect surgical record, Neil Morris was a man carrying secrets heavy enough to ruin lives. And then there was Eva Walter - the new resident with sunshine in her smile, chaos in her hands, and a habit of crashing straight through the walls Neil spent years building around himself. Being under Neil's strict supervision is tough, but what starts as tension slowly melts into something unexpected. Behind the sharp scalpel and sharper tongue, Eva glimpses a man carrying emotions. Because Neil and Eva were never meant to get close. Not with the tension between them. Not with the secrets hiding inside the Morris family. And definitely not with a marriage that was never supposed to become real. She's chaos. He's calm. She talks too much. He barely speaks. She's falling. And he doesn't even know what falling feels like-until her. Between late-night surgeries, rain-soaked confrontations, accidental touches in crowded"You're not what I expected, Dr. Morris," she said quietly, his gaze unreadable. "Neither are you, Dr. Eva," he whispered. "But I think I like the version that smiles... even if it's rare." he replied, taking a step closer. "Because the next thing I tell might change everything." So when he looks her dead in the eye and says, "I need a favor from you, Dr. Eva. Will you marry me? But on one condition..." Eva's world flips the line between hatred and love begins to disappear. But love is the least of their problems. Eva: Why do you always look angry at me? Neil: Because every time you appear, something goes wrong. Eva: That sounds like a you problem to me, Dr. Morris.
