Natalie "Nat" Brook has seen some shit in her life. And been through a lot of it. Before the Outbreak, she was simply a Detective in the New Orleans Police Department. She spent most of her days hunting down the worse scum of the city. Whether that was murderers, sexual predators, drug dealers, and others. Natalie dealt with them all.
But on a fateful night in 2003; her entire world went to complete and utter shit. Cities were shut down, hell, everything did. And she did what she knew best; she survived.
20 years later, Natalie and her 18-year-old son; Charlie, are hunting down monsters straight out of horror movies. Infected.
As members of the Fireflies, they are tasked to travel across the nation to bring a girl to someplace out west. In hopes of making a cure for all of mankind.
But in doing so, she meets a grumpy stubborn man named; Joel Miller. As well as the girl; Ellie. The four of them along with some others start a long arduous journey to try and save humanity.

Eventually, they arrived at Saint Mary's Hospital, Joel found out what they had to do to make the vaccine. He took Ellie and tried to get to Y/n but there were too many fireflies down the hall, heavily guarding the room she was placed in. He made one of the toughest decisions he had ever made in the last twenty years and left with just Ellie. After everything had died down, including Abby's father's death, Joel escaping and Y/n finding out Joel left with Ellie and she kept thinking why he left her behind and what she did wrong to make him leave with only Ellie. What will happen once Abby finds Y/n in the hospital? What could change if Y/n ever see's Ellie again? Would she still be on Abby's side if she found the truth?
