Jungwon furrowed his brows, taking another step closer. "Not with who?"

Eunseo shook her head, forcing a bitter laugh. "It doesn't matter."

Jungwon frowned, watching as she bit down on her lip, her entire body shaking as she tried to hold herself together. She was breaking. And she was trying so damn hard not to.

But then- Then she whispered, "I have nothing." And that was it. That was the moment she completely fell apart. A choked sob escaped her throat, her body giving up as she crumbled right there in front of him.

Jungwon didn't even hesitate. He caught her. His arms wrapped around her, pulling her against his chest as she finally, finally let go. And Eunseo- Eunseo sobbed. She sobbed like she had never sobbed before. Like she was releasing years of anger, frustration, pain, and heartbreak all at once.

Jungwon felt her fists clutch at the fabric of his uniform, her body trembling against him as she cried into his chest. And for the first time in his life, he had no idea what to say. So he just held her.
