The Scorpion and the Frog

Taking a spin on The Scorpion and the Frog, which is a fable where a scorpion asks a frog to carry him across a river. The frog, fearing being stung, agrees, but the scorpion stings him mid-crossing anyway, dooming both of them. The moral of the story is not to trust people who you know could harm you. but it can also show that the scorpion dying along with the frog that people with ill intent can drag themselves down too.
