Cinderella.

Everyone associates the name with the famous fairytale written by the Grimm's Brothers or the Disney classic.

Everyone except Cinderella Clyburn.

While this Cinderella shares the same ill fate as her fictional counterpart, she is nothing short of tough. She's got a heart made of steel and let's no one except her best friend, Rylee, penetrate it. She curses a whole heck of a lot and takes no one's shit if she can help it.

Left with nothing but her step-family, she is forced to cook and clean up after them to show her gratitude toward their "kindness." Now six years after her late father's death and enduring her senior year, she can't wait to graduate and go off to college somewhere far, far away from her "family."

But what if there's something that holds her back from her dreams? What will she do then?

Note: The men in this story are not mine (except for one/two characters). They were born from the mind of a fellow Watter that goes by the name of GoodnightGore who I will refer to as Dally from this point on. To support the original parent, go and read their "child" called "Come To Life". Seriously, do that. Dally is awesome as hell. ><><>< With their eyes wide open, they stared at what was being presented before them. Both were lucky their head wasn't being held down since their stomach turned. Charlie had provided them a bucket for them to puke into since neither could decide which way to turn. They were the princesses of Collincia after all; one must treat his prisoners like the royalty they are. "Do you like what you see, your highnesses?" Charlie cooed turning their head back to the horrifying scene before them. "This is what you and your brothers called 'The Monster of Collincia'. I remember that day you banished him from the kingdom, Princess Rainger. Didn't he kill Prince Psi and Princess Cho as well as every... single... royal... guard... in their kingdom?" "Why are you showing us this?!" roared Cho tying to get her side free. "What do you seek to achieve with showing us a hollowed-out Joseph!?!" Charlie smiled as he walked away from the princesses to a curtain revealing a robot charging. "Without The Monster of Collincia and his powers or... heh... 'Joseph'... as you call him... no one will be able to stop me from conquering every single kingdom in the world!" That's when it dawned on the princesses. Oh, how wrong they were in the past about Joseph until now. If they could, the princesses would be staring into each other's eyes with regret as they recall everything that happened in the past. If they had known, things would've been different.

She was ordinary. Fragile. Timid. The kind of girl who flinched at loud voices, hid behind her hands, and spent her days wrapped in the comfort of quiet dreams and the gentle embrace of nature. Life was safe. Predictable. Until it wasn't. One night, everything shattered. A man with cold, unfeeling eyes and blood on his hands came for her. Dragged her from her bed at midnight. Pulled her into a world she didn't understand. A stranger, merciless and silent, became her captor. And he wouldn't explain why. He was everything she feared. Brutal. Unforgiving. Dark in a way that made the air around him feel sharp. He lived only for one person. His brother, a man who had lost an eye because of him, a debt he carried like a curse. And the reason she was here? That brother had seen her at a wedding. Whispers of desire had crossed the wrong ears, and in that instant, her life was stolen without question. She begged. Pleaded. Tried to understand. He remained cold, unyielding, untouchable. And in her confusion, she convinced herself of a story that wasn't true: that he must love her. That beneath the rough edges, the anger, the cruelty, there was a man capable of tenderness. She fell for him. Hopelessly. Recklessly. Entirely. She followed him, confessed to him, clung to the faintest glimpses of softness she thought she saw. Every protective gesture, every glance of anger, every violent act she witnessed, she misread them all as love. But she was wrong. She was never meant to be his. She was a gift. A possession to be delivered to someone else. And by the time the truth claws through her illusions, her heart has already been claimed by the wrong man. Two brothers. One woman. And in the shadowed corners of their world, where darkness is law and nightmares are real, the game of obsession, and forbidden love begins.
