this is a redemption story of a man who fell from grace at a young age but as he gets older he wishes to reform and become a better person although he also has to avoid being killed by a hero of which he knows the secret identity of. It's also a test of humanity from the heavens and hell. Every 250 years angels and demons allow humans to use their powers as a test to determine whether humans are worthy of keeping around or not.
