The Forgotten Essence of Tranquility

I originally wrote this piece for an assignment while attending university. The prompt was to describe a prominent place you remember during your childhood just using the five senses (excluding dialouge for sound). Many months after this assignment was completed, I just threw it on my shelf with all of the other writings I have stacked collecting dust. It wasn't until I was going through all my paperwork to clean out that I decided to start sharing them with the world slowly yet surely. So I hope you enjoy this peace as much as I enjoyed writing it and take a trip down my little block of memory lane.
