Alexis Miller is Ginny's older sister by only a year and they couldn't be more different. Alexis is well guarded and closed off, terrified if she lets someone in they will leave her or she'll get hurt.

Battling anxiety and depression has always been a fight for her but her mom Georgia has always been her only source of light to pull her out of the darkness.

When she moves to Wellsbury with her family, Georgia makes her promise to make an effort to make friends. But how can she do that when she feels like the ground is caving in beneath her as she slowly drowns in her own thoughts.

So why is Marcus Baker any different and why are the walls she spent years building up slowly deteriorating more and more when he's around?
