Remember Goonies? Stand By Me? Outsiders? The Sandlot? What ever happened to those types of stories? Ones that felt genuine and funny, and that we were always shocked to find out were only rated PG at the time. I've had a vision of movie scenes hit me as I hear certain songs for the past few years, and so I've started writing these scenes into a story.
David, Mark, Randy, Bryan, and Jaimie travel across the country inspired by their junior high history class in hopes of becoming modern-day 49ers. They each have their own motivation to find some money, and they grow and learn along the way.
