The Prosthetic Vampire

Donna is a stepmother with cancer held at bay by a serum that turned her into a pseudo-vampire. While seeking the source of the serum and a permanent cure for her cancer so that she can return to her family, she encounters Drew, a younger vampire claiming to be on a similar quest. But when their search draws the attention of Asa, unpredictable agent of a vampire-run corporation, they are drawn into a series of events and discoveries that causes them to question everything they thought they knew about vampirism and themselves.
