Romance
Edith, Aria, Ayvethis, Finnis, and Evelynne-born into luxury, bonded by friendship, and just out of the city's most elite private school-thought they had life all figured out. But love? That wasn't really part of the plan. Then came the summer. Long days. Late nights. Glances that lingered. And boys they never imagined falling for. In the golden haze of their seventeenth summer, each girl is swept into a romance that turns her world upside down-sweet, messy, magical, and completely unexpected. The Seventeenth Summer is a sparkling tale of friendship, true love, and the kind of summer that only comes once in a lifetime.

Summers are supposed to be that time of the year that you should look forward to. No school, hours at the beach, late night parties. What's not to love? Three words. My neighbor's grandson. For once in her life, Maliah Arias is looking forward to her summer. It's the summer before senior year and life couldn't be better. She has a hot college boyfriend, plenty of Dl soccer scholarship offers, and she just went through a massive glow up. To make matters better, her neighbor's annoying yet very hot grandson, Jackson Cruz, who usually visits every summer, is away in Europe. When circumstances change, Maliah finds herself once again in the presence of Jackson, who seems hell-bent on making her life miserable. Although as time passes, the two of them find themselves growing closer and closer, whether they like it or not. Tears are shed, hearts are broken, and Maliah finds herself wondering if she'll be able to survive the summer and make it to senior year.
