Lucian Dernier, a negative nancy at times is a college sophomore. It's the first day of college. He majors in Criminal Justice. He meets a boy named Syrus Lovett, his roommate who majors in Psychology. 

This story, "I'd let the world burn for you" goes into dept about the two boy's friendship, and how it will inevitably plummet due to a misunderstanding. It will talk about Lucian's trauma that his brain had blocked out further into the story. And as the title suggests, Syrus would let the world burn for Lucian.
