In Equations of the Heart is a secret romance woven between chalkboards and college corridors. When Arinya Chatterjee and Professor Aryan Verma find themselves unexpectedly engaged due to their families' arrangement, their lives take an unimaginable turn. In the university, she remains the fiery student with answers for everything, and he continues to be the untouchable academic idol. But behind closed doors, they stumble into a relationship they neither planned nor wanted-at least not at first. What begins as quiet conflict wrapped in sarcasm and boundaries slowly shifts into something more tender: a world of stolen glances, fleeting touches, and late-night conversations over steaming cups of chai. As they balance their secret life with the expectations of the world, they must decide if love-unexpected and quiet-can truly thrive in the hidden spaces between rules and rebellion.

"Get out," I whispered again, looking into his deep brown eyes. His brows furrowed. "I can't leave you in this condition." A lone tear slipped from my eye. "You're the only person responsible for this condition." He swallowed hard and lay down beside me. "I said-" I tried to get up, but he grabbed my wrist and pulled me into his embrace again. His arms wrapped tightly around me. I stopped struggling. His warmth, his scent... after four years, I finally felt at peace. My face was buried in his chest. "Why aren't you leaving me?" I whispered. He looked down, his gaze intense. "Because I can't," he admitted. "I'm not able to." I bit my lip, my heart aching. ___________________________________ "You look beautiful," I said, tucking a loose strand of her hair behind her ear. "Come up with something new. Half of your guests already used that line," she muttered. I stared into her kohl-lined eyes. "Is that so?" She hummed in response. "Then how about this-" I leaned close to her ear. "You look like mine," I whispered before pressing a soft kiss against her earlobe. She shuddered. I was about to trail kisses down her neck when she whispered, "I'm sleepy." I chuckled and pulled back. She strolled toward the staircase, taking slow steps, struggling with her four-inch pencil heels and the heavy saree. Will she ask for my help? Nope. I sighed and walked toward her. --- GRUMPY × SUNSHINE

PROFESSOR HUSBAND

26 parts Ongoing Mature

She was a student who believed in freedom. He was a professor who worshipped discipline. They had nothing in common-except the one thing they couldn't escape: marriage. Aarohi Pandey, bold, brilliant, and unapologetically rebellious, never imagined her future would be tied to the man she despised most-her arrogant Biology professor, Aashutosh Kulkarni. He was everything she hated: serious, rigid, and too full of himself. She was everything he couldn't stand: impulsive, loud, and always late. But when their families force them into a marriage neither of them wanted, they strike a deal-live as strangers for one year, then part ways. No feelings. No expectations. No strings. But life under the same roof begins to blur lines. Between shared silences and stolen glances, between jealousy and unspoken care, love begins to bloom where hate once grew. Will they hold on to their pride-or surrender to the feelings they never planned to have?
