Anastasia never expected her junior year at Believe Grove College to come with an eviction notice. Bright, determined, and on a paid for tuition, she's been holding it together-sort of. When the dorm rates spike, she finds herself out of options. She's already in debt from last year, and she just simply cannot afford another year here. That's when her older brother Austin, swoops in and tries to save her, by making a deal with the last person she'd ever want to do business with: Ace.

Ace-real name Ashton-doesn't tolerate anyone but Austin. He doesn't like people, he doesn't do relationships, matter of fact the man is seemingly void of most emotions. He's known for his sleek car, obnoxiously attractive face, and a lifestyle funded by secrets nobody dares to question. Women come and go, and he prefers it that way. When Austin asks if his little sister can crash in the empty room of Ace's upscale apartment, he can't say no-even if it breaks every single one of his rules.

To Anastasia, Ace is just the mysterious best friend her brothers always told her stories about. The late nights, the parties, the women. But she's never really known him-not until now. Living in the same space with someone so guarded, so unapologetically detached, would be hard for anyone.
