Tsukikage, Japan. 1987.

Seventeen-year-old Hyoh Hazakura is a kendo prodigy who doesn't care about kendo. His adopted sister Kaori is a perfectionist trapped in his shadow. Their best friend Kento is an archery champion who sees through everyone's masks.

They have Friday nights at the izakaya. Morning practices at the dojo. A routine that feels like it will last forever.

It won't.

When tragedy strikes on an ordinary afternoon, Hyoh's desperate attempt to undo it awakens something ancient beneath the city-a Relic that shouldn't exist, a doorway that shouldn't open.

The crossing tears them from 1980s Japan into Celestia: a dying world where power burns through your lifespan, where priestesses sacrifice their memories to survive, where every victory demands a permanent cost.

Hyoh becomes Rain-a resistance fighter haunted by the people he left behind.
Kaori joins the Empire that destroyed everything she was trying to protect.
