Every 100 years, five new Guardians awaken to protect Serrah from malignant forces. However, one remained lost in his slumber and failed to awaken for more than 500 years. These brought Serrahns confusion and urged them to wake the Guardian by any means necessary.

Euphie, a talented sorcerer was living a completely normal life in the mage tower when his Grandmother Olga suddenly went missing. Worried and determined to bring her back, Euphie ran to her rescue and entered a mysterious forest where she was last seen. Little did he know that lies within is a sleeping deity and the only way to get out is to wake him up.

"Woah, stop! What are you doing?! Let me go!"

Euphie frantically squirmed when large roots of trees began to wrap around his limbs forcing him out of the ground. His chest moved heavily as he began to rise closer to the nest he decided to despise. Despite his protests, the roots gradually delivered him closer to the face of the sleeping guardian. So close that he fears what is about to happen.

"Let me go!!!"

He screamed at the top of his lungs but he knew no one could even hear that aside from the forest creatures.

Their proximity is getting slimmer and Euphie doesn't like what's about to happen. However, he has no choice but to close his eyes and press his lips tightly together.

Modern Romantasy | Slow Burn You stood alone. Then, I swore to be your shield. "Don't chase storms," you told me. But what else could I do, when you - Aisling Gale - walked into the open auditions for the High Spire Renaissance Faire with nothing but your cards, your defiance, and a spark that threatened to split my silence wide open? I am Tristan Carver, trusted marshal of the guild: Steady as an oak, sworn to keep order, and trained to fight on every battlefield but yours. "I can speak for myself," you told the guildmaster - but I ached to be your champion. Together, we're pulled into a faire season of high adventure and slow-burn romance - where laughter breaks betrayal, rivals test every bond, and even the fiercest masks can't hide an undone heart. Aisling, I'll stand with you through it all... when you've only ever stood alone. AUTHOR'S NOTES: * Expect new chapters every Tuesday and Friday, with 6 of 9 arcs drafted: • High Adventure - COMPLETE • High Seas - Finale out December 16, 2025! • High Romance • High Court • High Treason • High Masque * This modern romantasy-lite tale of courtship and chivalry will be rated "Mature" at High Masque, but not before then. -- Expect an excruciatingly, agonizingly slowburn romance, with protagonists who are actively trying *not* to believe what they're seeing (due to very understandable reasons). * This story also features fully adult and mature main characters in their late twenties and early thirties. They've loved and hurt before, and carry scars that keep them from jumping as fast as a first-love romance might. * I'm sure I've gotten details of Renaissance festivals and performances wrong. This story started as a fun side project for me, so my research is minimal. No disrespect intended to those incredible performers, and the faire itself is completely made up!

You're just a little birdie, minding your own business-flying around, dodging falling leaves, trying not to get too involved in the messes of the city below. But, oh, the drama! The masked hero and the brooding villain you've been watching for months-yeah, those two? They have a lot of secrets. The hero's perfect, obviously, saving the world and all that. But the villain? Oh, dear. By day, they wear a mask of evil and power, but you've seen what happens when the cape comes off. There's some serious darkness lurking in their private life-self-loathing, quiet pain, and way too many late-night mood swings. But don't worry, the villain's got it under control... or so they think. You thought their love story was one of those sweet "enemies-to-lovers" kind of deals, until you saw the truth from way up here. It's a mess. Betrayal. Anger. Love. Secret identities. A fight that's way more personal than you ever imagined. But hey, that's not your problem, right? You're just a bird. Except, well... Maybe you care. Maybe you're the one who's been flying around, wondering if their messy, secret love story will ever have a happy ending-or if one of them will end up on the wrong side of the city's skyscraper (literally). From your vantage point, it's a little too close for comfort, but hey-no one ever said love was easy, even for villains and heroes. Just try not to get caught in the crossfire, okay? Avery wrapped an arm around my waist to catch me before I could get out the door. He pushed me up against the door, trapping me between his body and the door. "What's wrong?" I asked innocently. His face hovered over mine, much closer than I was used to. His gaze didn't leave mine as he spoke. "It would have been different if I had told him from the start. You wanted me to lie for you. You started this. If we tell him what really happened, he would be pissed at me for lying to him." "Stormie, you got a phone call!" Mason yelled up the stairs. The closeness between Avery and me started to make my legs feel like Jell-O, and I couldn't make sense of it. Our breathing became heavier. His eyes trapped mine. "Answer him," Avery murmured. "Uh," I stammered. I cleared my throat. "Be down in a minute!" My voice came out higher than usual. My gaze still couldn't escape Avery's. My heart raced wildly as his chest rose and fell against mine. Avery's gaze flickered to my lips. What's happening? My gaze fell to his mouth, which was moving closer to mine. Stormie West is brave, kind, and young. She has a lot to learn about love, trust, lust, and heartbreak. Stormie's older brother, Mason, is brave, cocky, and a bit of an asshole. He's the wide receiver for the high school football team. Avery Prince is Mason's best friend. Avery has it all, popularity, star quarterback, and girls. One thing you are missing - story of faith (Yuri!!! on ice - Viktuuri) by Fairytales_Blackbox

Victor and Yuuri has everything a person can hope for in their lives. But a whole life can only change in seconds. Victor and Yuuri will know that one thing they are missing. (Luke 18:22). * Why fanfiction with a Christian theme? The world is getting darker all the time. Even many followers of Jesus love too much about what the word has to offer. I'am trying to wake you up. Jesus is coming back soon. All ten virgins were waiting for Jesus come back. At some point they all got tired and fell asleep. Only five of them were ready. Only five had their lamps full of oil. (Matthew 25.) We can't play with sin. Love stories are attractive. They're no all bad. But stop for a moment. Are you feeding your mind smut or BL-stories? I did that. This story is meant to you who already know this fandom. This is for you, who need to remember the covenant you made with Jesus. We can't endure the difficult days ahead without the power of Holy Spirit. And that's why I want to offer beloved Viktor and Yuuri a new story. I want them to be saved. This story "One thing you are missing" I wrote spring 2022 when I was still too in love with bl-stories. This spring I asked God if I could write these stories. Fanfiction needs more love of Jesus and clean friendship between characters. Jesus grabbed me by the scruff of the neck this spring (2025). I will write until He gives me a new vision. God bless you all. You can find this also in AO3 - Written by Fairytales_Blacbox
