It Hurt

Michael remembers reading a quote once that said when you get close to someone and open up to them you give them a piece of yourself, and maybe he shouldn’t have given Luke and Cal such big pieces because now that he’s alone those chunks of himself are missing and he needs them more than ever.

And he thinks that maybe he’s always been sad because looking back all he sees is shades of grey but no white and he thinks that maybe Luke and Calum were the white that mixed with the black and let him be grey but now they're gone and so is the white they brought with them and he’s left only with black.
