Set in World war 1, 1915. A British Red Cross nurse from Colonial Singapore finds herself sent to France and made to aid the injured on the front lines, only to be chased by German troops. Running for safety, she soon finds herself in Latvia, carrying her injured and exhausted self to the first camp she finds, she soon gets founded by a Latvian rifleman who put his fullest into making sure she gets back to her camp safely through the gritty and harsh conditions of the then occupied Latvia by the USSR.
