The Quiet Between Spells

Summary:
During the height of the war, Hogwarts becomes more like a prison than a school. With the Carrows in control, students are forced to attend, suffer, and survive. Draco Malfoy is a reluctant pawn of Voldemort, doing his best to keep his head down and his family safe. Harry, Ron, and Hermione are on the run-but Harry sneaks into Hogwarts one night via the Room of Requirement to gather something Dumbledore once told him about.
Instead of staying hidden, Harry is caught-by Draco.
But instead of turning him in, Draco lets him go. And just like that, a thread is tied.
From then on, Harry returns occasionally, through hidden passages and magical means, to gather information or rest. Each time, Draco is the one who finds him. And each time... he lets him go.
A fragile, forbidden alliance forms in whispered conversations in the dark, passing healing potions, stolen news, the occasional book... and eventually, shared secrets and quiet touches. As the war grows bloodier and the final battle approaches, so does the inevitable question: Which side will Draco be on-and will either of them survive long enough to find out?
