Akira is a pickpocket. And guess what? She steals from the wrong person. James Buchanan Barnes.
Eight months ago, Akira started appearing on public cameras for the first time. She's only a child. Eight months of the streets, stealing for her life. And one day, little does she know, she tries to steal from ex-HYDRA assassin, Bucky Barnes. And little does she know, they're similar in more ways than either of them know...
(P.S. I don't own Marvel or the Avengers and this is only fanfiction.)
Also this is my first piece of writing on Wattpad so pls don't judge. I'm not doing commissions.
(Facts are not accurate all the way through, just cause this started off with no link to the main plot of the MCU and I changed it so it was, like *ahem ahem* SHIELD and HYDRA still being around after CATWS so pls roll with it sorryyyyyyy)
The main perspective starts between The Winter Soldier and Age of Ultron. It includes some pre-CATWS in flashbacks, and the timeline jumps around a bit anyway, so, deal with it ig.
