The famous double black falling in love, oh how beautiful, until everything would fall.
The story also has fluff and angst in it, both from Dazai's and Chuuya's sides.
Chuuya in this au has complete heterochromia, with his left eye being a light blue and his right eye being brown.
Dazai on the other hand has dark red eyes, usually empty and with nothing showing inside them.
Dazai first falls in love with chuuya when they were around 16 (before 16 but after chuuya joined the mafia) the story continues with their dangerous missions and other fluff that might be somewhere spicy, aka some chapters will have mature warnings and there IS gore in other chapters.

This is a fanfic of the ship soukoku, it's my first time writing a story, so bear with me please😓 This is NOT a one shot, why do some people skip some chapters😭😭 Some things about their teenage years are incomplete, but I don't know much apart from what was shown in the anime and I want the angst to be about their relationship itself. Dazai and Chuuya started dating in secret at 17, then Dazai left the mafia without a word and they saw each other again 4 years later. Will they solve their differences? Talk things out? Or will they fall apart? Will their surroundings affect them? They still love each other after all those years, but will that be enough to stay together?

After Dostoyevesky's death having Dazai nearly witnessing the death of all of his friends, he finally has an actual change in heart. Despite that, he's plagued with horrid nightmares of everyone dying and all because of him. As always he can't seem to get away from Chuuya either with him being the focal point of every nightmare and it did have an impact on him. Dazai realises he in fact holds strong feelings for the short ginger man. Naturally, of course when one side of double black changes so does the other. All this while trying to deal with 7 missing people and 6 missing families is a lot to juggle.
