The legend of Animal Souls has been around since the creation of the Jungle. But, only for the animals. Ever since Mowgli could remember, he's had a very unique ability. He was never told the legend, so he assumes that it's just because he was a human raised by wolves, and. in a way, he's not that far off. You see, an Animal Soul is a human with a love for the jungle, but they are rare. The last Animal Soul in the jungle was over a hundred years prior. Sit back, relax, and prepare yourself, for this story is a wild one. This is the story of the last descendent of the first Animal Soul.

This story will be a twist on your traditional werewolf stories. Not only will this book feature many of the elements we have all come to love about these werewolf stories, such as fated mates, supernatural abilities, and the ability to transform into their animal forms. It will have all that and more, as there will also be other species of animal shifters, not just wolves. This book will also incorporate certain elements of Greek mythology and lore, with my own personal twist added to them. And this will be the first book of many to be featured in this particular series, The Blessing series. Artemis Silverfang is known as a very strong and independent tiger shifter. Due to her strong and independent nature, she is used to being on her own and doesn't need anyone telling her what to do. Artemis has survived even the harshest of times and environments while traveling nonstop with nothing but her intelligence and skill alone. She has no intention to change her solitary lifestyle, nor does she regret her life choices that have led her down this path. That is, until she walks unknowingly into a wolf shifter territory where the alpha just happens to be her fated mate. Kayden Silvermoon is a very powerful and compassionate alpha of an ancient werewolf pack known as the Shadow Moon pack. Kayden will do anything to protect his pack members, which makes him highly respected and loved by all. So when he is informed that a tiger shifter, their mortal enemy, has crossed into their land, he immediately jumps into action to protect his pack. But the real problem occurs when he learns that this particular tiger shifter is his fated mate. Worst yet, she refuses to submit to him, all the while challenging him at every turn. COMPLETED STORY The agony is like nothing I have ever felt before, I slide in and out of consciousness, I feel the strange sway of the two legged's walk as I am being carried through the woods, I wish to call out to my mate but I am weakened by the torments cast upon me. I have been laid down in the cold snow and my tormenter is digging in the frozen earth, I once again lose consciousness. The next time my eyes flutter open I have cold snow mixed with frozen dirt being thrown on my throbbing frame. I'm not sure what is going on. I'm freezing, hurt, and confused. I rouse to strange smells that are new to me, I'm colder than ever and something is definitely missing. I attempt to stand but immediately fall onto a fur covered ground, wait, fur... Where is my fur?!? Where did my tail go? Why do my paws look bare and have moving sticks coming out of them? Who stretched my legs out? What in tarnation happened to my fur? I guess that would explain why I'm cold. I begin to take in my surroundings, I am in a dead tree shelter but it looks completely different, there is a fire crackling near me but it does little to warm my bare skin, I'm startled by the sound of laughter, I look over and see a two legged is staring at me with a hint of humor in his eye. "You are very confused. I found you almost dead in a non descent grave. You were shot and bruised. I brought you here and made some... changes. It was the only way I could save you." The stranger explains. I don't really understand what he is saying, all I know is I want my fur back.

17. That's how old I am today. It's about time too. I was getting sick of being 16. I hear a low rumble being emitted from my chest. I run towards the woods before the change takes over my body.
