Wellington Vale is a retro futuristic city where the past is forbidden and genuine emotions are unwanted.
The population is kept in a state of artificial euphoria by the drug Joy - everyone must smile, laugh, function. Sadness is seen as dangerous. Those who remember disappear.

The government program Project Σ9 was originally intended to use music as a weapon against unrest - through frequencies that directly influence emotions. But the experiment went further: it gave rise to the Awakened, people whose voices can trigger, control, or erase emotions.

Most know nothing of their origin. Some, like Clara, were not born but engineered. Others, like Rowan, were isolated and broken at an early age.

The real threat doesn't lie in weapons, but in the frequency itself - a final melody capable of changing everything: memories, emotions, entire civilizations.
