When a bizarre clerical error in Hell's celestial bureaucracy allows Elias Saad-a freshly-deceased, nerdy teenager-to remain in Hell rather than face judgment, he's dumped into the Lust Ring, one of the most chaotic and hedonistic corners of the underworld. He's assigned to work as a low-level intern for I.M.P. (Immediate Murder Professionals), where he quickly finds himself dodging demons, paperwork, and Blitzø's reckless plans.
Desperate to survive, Elias contacts two fellow humans already trying to make a life in Hell:
Marcus, a paranoid Aussie arms dealer who runs a black-market shop near Mammon's casinos.
Matt Ivanov, a grizzled, communist-tattooed ex-freedom fighter turned bodyguard-for-hire with a grudge against both Heaven and Hell.
Together, this trio of fish-out-of-water humans struggle to navigate infernal politics, turf wars between the demon princes, celestial bounty hunters sent to retrieve Matt, and the ever-present chaos caused by Blitzø, Angel Dust, and Chaz. Along the way, they forge bizarre alliances (like Elias bonding with Octavia over poetry), rivalries (Marcus vs. Chaz), and confusing flirtations (Matt and Angel Dust's violent flirt-fests).
