Perfectly qualified and haunted by their past, Alex accepts, hoping to make up for old mistakes and get just a little further from the earth they've left behind. Two months into the seven-month mission, the team is struggling with discontent, damaged equipment, and blizzards acting less and less like normal weather. Broken Boundaries
A while ago the question of what if an alien is so cute, a straight guy can't help but still fall in love depite the alien being male, came to me. And of course, the idea for a new story was born soon thereafter. This is the result, my latest novel set in the science fiction Aoyu Universe as of this writing, and the first (and at this time only) gay/bisexual romance themed story that I've written. --- During the Earth-Silth conflicts, two commanders of opposing warships played a game of chicken at one of the outer known solar systems, the result being a head-on collision and two ships fused together at the bows. After the cease fire agreement plans were made to salvage what they could from the ships and Alain from Earth was sent as part of a two man crew to recover components from the Earth vessel while a team from the Silth would handle theirs. 💫 Story Introduction: They gave us ten days. Ten days to collaborate on a groundbreaking astrobiology project that could change the way humanity sees the universe. Ten days to deliver perfection, under pressure, at NASA, with the world watching. It should've been easy-at least for someone like her. Dr. Iris Vale was everything I wasn't. Sunlight in sneakers. Laughter in a lab coat. The kind of person who hugged too tight and believed in the good in everyone. Head of the astrobiologist department And me? I was Dr. Aroura Caelum. Cold. Calculated. Closed off. A woman carved from caution, shaped by scars. I didn't do warm. I didn't do smiles. And I definitely didn't do love.
