I moved states to start over, but nothing prepared me for what I'd face ..academic failure, fake friends, grief, and surviving a car crash that left more than just dents in my body. I came back to school broken, bruised, and damn near numb. Then I saw her.
Willow wasn't supposed to mean anything. Just a pretty face I kept matching with on dating apps. But the way she looked at me felt like she saw through everything I tried to hide. Even the parts of me I was still learning to love.
