Aaron felt that rain clouds surrounded him and he was perfectly comfortable with that, he didn't like people- end of story. That is until Keira, the personification of sunlight and his new next door neighbour comes along and flips his entire love for solitude on its head. Then the rain clouds begin to disappear... Aaron sat and listened to me as shadows danced off his jaw, I watched as it flexed. "I cant believe anyone could find you too much" he said looking almost perplexed by the idea of it. "I mean your laugh, your voice, your smile, it all fits you so perfectly" My breath hitched at his words. No one had ever said that to me it felt almost like a confession of some sorts. Intimately whispered in the soft lighting of my kitchen like a secret being told. I laughed then to break the intense atmosphere that had taken over but it just made his eyes crinkle and his dimples appear. "Oh" was all I could say. I was actually speechless. I mean what could I say to that without spilling my guts to him. Hi! This is a grumpy x sunshine, next door neighbour, he's obsessed with her and she's oblivious to it romcom. Also this is my first ever attempt at writing so please leave any feedback/ improvements you feel I can make in the comments lol. (not edited) This is the book I never even admired. It was more like a journal for me-just ranting and never meant to be published. I only uploaded it so that my friend could read it, and I never imagined people would actually love it. So, it's nothing like Whispered Vows-that's the book I poured my heart and soul into, dedicating 5-6 months completely. So please, don't judge me by this book π!! It was written when I was a teen and remained just a draft for almost a year from 2022 to 2024.
