Two years later, Taylor is a rising star on a world tour-and Skylar is the last person he expects to see again. Their chemistry is still undeniable, but so are the secrets and shadows of the past... including one that's not ready to let go. Love brought them together once. Author Note: Was called Pushing Through (changed to (or back to) Game of Love) Emily Eaton, sister of Ethan Eaton, couldn't be any less irritated at the band that practices night and day in her basement. Her brother, who is the all star drummer girls fawn over, created a band that is insanely popular in their school- town - even state. Chase Hawthorne, the school's heartthrob is at the center of it all. Being the lead guitarist and singer makes him the prince of the little town of Tharmer just outside of the big city Atlanta where many can get signed. Not only is he Ethan's best friend, but when his parents have an unexpected trip for a few months the Eaton's agree to let him stay for those upcoming months. Emily couldn't be more happier for her brother, but when Chase is involved she doesn't know what to do. He's such a heartthrob that even she has trouble not falling for him. But she has closed herself off, after her drastic health change at the end of Sophomore year, which only her parents and brother know about. She isn't the girl she once was. Chase could possibly get her back to who she was, but honestly with a heart throb in high school, love is all a game to them. Or is it a game to Chase? *Note: this book covers a huge health topic*
