Sage is a delicate plant, one that can be crushed simply with a strong, hefty paw. And in SageClan, this paw belongs to Cougarstar, the leader who seems to have no heart. he is strict and sharp with his warriors and only seems to be remotely kind to his mate and his heir, Bearpatch, who seems not too bothered by his father's issues. Plenty of rules have been set in place to be sure that SageClan flourishes for as long as it can, and despite the fact that Cougarstar has not made the majority of these rules, they have certainly been bent for some cats of the Clan. of course, with Cougarstar's permission, for if anything were to slip by the leader, the cat would be in grave trouble. It all began with a certain brown tabby-and-white she-cat, Lilypetal, whose determination and spirit led her far from her Twoleg home, and to the forest where the wild cats of ThunderClan lied, and ended with that same she-cat's determination and spirit ridding of a certain gray-speckled spirit whose heart burned with rage for the loss of things he never deserved, and giving Lilypetal the position of ThunderClan's deputy. Many things happened in between, with new cats joining us along the way - Goldenshine, who would stop at nothing to be the hero she'd always dreamed of; her sister, Snowflight, whose destiny was to do nothing but protect and heal those she cared about, whether or not she was dead or alive; and then Swiftflight, who unfortunately had been brought to his worst self, even as a young apprentice, and didn't become his best until he was a grown warrior. But unfortunately, not every piece of their journey could be shared, and there are even stories of other cats seen along the way that need telling... some more tales amidst, before, and a bit after the story we all know, that will be unleashed.

It's claimed that a kittypet's life was easy. All one needed to do is sleep all day, a food and shelter provided by one's Housefolk. But Angel didn't enjoy that kind of life. But all she got from the Twolegplace were ridicules and mocking from the other kittypets, judging her for preferring to drink from rain puddles instead of water bowls, play in the forest rather than nap beneath the sun, pretend to hunt rather than just eat her pellets. Not to mention the name calling. Needless to say, Angel didn't have many friends in the Twolegplace, and soon found herself wishing for another life. When it seemed opportunity presented itself, she didn't hesitate to jump at the chance, leaving everything she knew behind for an unfamiliar world. But the new life has its challenges, too. Angel was sucked into a war. Oh, and she was fooled. She was fooled into thinking the battles would be a one's basic war, with blood, injuries, and death, but it was so much more than that. Secrets, betrayal, and a dark history lies in wait, unraveling secrets that the white she-cat may have never wanted to know. Angel wanted a new life.
