In a world of thrones and betrayal, Rajlaxmi is thrust into a political marriage with Yuvraj Gautam Rathore, a prince as stoic as he is loyal. Bound not by love, but by duty, their marriage begins under the shadows of suspicion, ancient rivalries, and a palace full of whispers.
But when courtly games turn dangerous, and secrets begin to unravel, Gautam and Rajlaxmi must decide-
Will they fall apart under the weight of the crown?
Or will they fight, side by side, for love, power, and a future of their own making?

Rakhi's words cut through my emotions. "He's yours now, and he's moved on from the girl he loved once. So, why are you creating a scene?" I knew she was right, but my heart wasn't convinced. "I know he's moved on, but he treats her the same way he treats me. There's no difference. And I know he still misses her," I said, tears streaming down my face. Rakhi's expression softened. "What's going on, really?" she asked gently. I took a deep breath, trying to articulate my feelings. "Every time I read their chats or letters, I feel like... like I came between them. He wasn't meant to be mine. His efforts to move on are genuine, but my heart can't seem to understand the situation." Rakhi's eyes filled with compassion. "Like what?" she prompted. I wiped my tears, struggling to find the words. "Like I'm a replacement, not the one he truly loves. And sometimes I feel like I should leave him, set him free to go back to the girl he loved once." Rakhi's grip on my hand tightened. "But then what stops you?" she asked. I looked up at her, my voice barely above a whisper. "The thought of leaving him, of causing him more pain...it's unbearable. I healed him, Rakhi. If I leave him now, he'll be broken again. I don't think I can live with that." ⋆。˚⋆⋆。˚⋆⋆。˚⋆⋆。˚⋆⋆。˚⋆⋆。˚⋆⋆。˚⋆⋆。˚⋆⋆。˚⋆⋆。˚⋆ 📚 Book: Burning For You 📍 Available on: Wattpad & Scroll Stack! ✒️ Author: @sparkle_heart_122 . 💬 Don't copy! He was waiting outside the OP, there for his student who had been injured during a fight over a phone. As he sat, casually glancing at his own phone, he suddenly heard the faint sound of a baby crying. Curious, he turned toward the sound-and froze. There, outside the pediatric care unit, sat his wife with their son crying in her arms. His heart ached-it had been months since he last saw his son. His gaze shifted to his wife, gently consoling the child. Her face looked tired, pale, and completely drained. Without a second thought, he stood, tears welling in his eyes. Each step he took felt heavy, his chest tightening with every cry from his son. As he neared, he saw her clothes were faded and worn. Her feet were bare, hardened from walking-clearly straight from the farm. His heart clenched. His eyes moved to his son-he had grown so much. She was so focused on calming the baby that she didn't notice him at first. Tears filled her eyes as she held their feverish child close. He softly called her name. Startled, she looked up-and froze. Then she quickly lowered her gaze and tried to get up. He gently placed a hand on her shoulder, stopping her. She sat back down, turning her face away, quietly wiping her tears. He reached out to take their son. The moment he held him, he felt the heat-his little body was burning with fever. A chill ran through him. After all these months, seeing his child like this was unbearable. He loved his wife and son deeply, but his loyalty to his mother-and obedience to her word-always came first. Between a mother who owned his soul and a wife who held his heart, he was a man torn in a cruel war of love and loyalty. And she-she had given her all to a promise whispered beneath the sacred fire... never knowing that one day, she'd be holding her child, with nothing but a faded vow.
