They say names carry weight. Mine? It means alone. A cruel prophecy, sealed in syllables. I used to believe names were just words until the people I trusted the most began to vanish, one by one. First my childhood friends, then my brother, and finally the boy who swore he'd never leave. They all walked away, leaving space in their place. Now I wonder if I ever truly had them at all.
