Walter always felt and sensed things differently from his friends and family. That didn't matter much to him, as apart from the pointy ears and tall height, he was just another Human living on the lonely planet of Malcula. What troubles him is the life he had forgotten before he crashed into the Alfredsons' farm.

Fifteen thousand years of blissful ignorance end as the Imperium of Man rediscovers the planet Malcula. To Walter, these strangers and their God-Emperor may provide the answers he's been looking for or bring destruction to his entire world.

However, there is a cost.

A child born among the stars, Walter and his friend, Kara, are soon forced into the crew of the Rogue Trader, Lord Belvedere Van Romulius. Together, they must learn about the cruel gods, hostile xenos, and the many sub-factions of the fanatic Imperium to survive.

Although we have grown very far apart, you are the inspiration behind my words for this novel, and I hope that one day we can reconcile and start afresh and return to the two peas in a pod we used to be. You are a true inspiration in my main character, and it just goes to show you that the most strangest, quietest and quirkiest of people can become the strongest of heroes.
