As we walked out, Sam suddenly turned with a wicked grin.

I stopped mid-step.
"WHAT?"
Ryder King watched it all.
He didn't move.
Didn't blink.
Didn't breathe.

He cleared his throat deliberately.
Nina turned back and spotted him.
Those familiar eyes. That slight smirk.
She gave him a nervous smile, eyes darting like a deer spotting the lion she didn't really want to run from.
"Hey." he said simply, coming down the steps and sliding into the seat beside her.
His thigh brushed against hers-casual, intentional.
She flinched, just a little.
"You look beautiful tonight," he murmured, gaze locked on her pink saree.
Nina swallowed. "Thanks."
Silence stretched. The tension between them crackled like live wire.
Then-
"So... you haven't kissed anyone yet, huh?" he asked, voice low.
Nina whipped her head toward him. "Who told you that?!"
Ryder chuckled. "You just did."
