With the ever increasing advancement of technological developments and space travel possibilities available within the late 21st century, a new space project has undertaken the task of sending probes deeper and deeper into outer space to gain snapshots and a greater understanding of the universe upon a far superior magnititude. The Pangaea project uses spacecraft that disperse unmmaned satellite probes to capture samples, knowledge, and images for space research. Controlled by the International Space Command, the Gamma launch starts remarkably well.
However, when chaos and sabotage strikes the Pangaea Gamma, International Rescue are once again called in to rescue the astronauts of the project. Threatening to target a rural mining town, the Pangaea probes aboard the vessel begin to malfunction and threaten to cause havoc within the sky and across the target. The Thunderbirds quickly launch to aid in the Pangaea emergency, but the project continues and a second launch, Pangaea Upsilon commences operation. Once the second Pangaea goes awry, greater disaster takes place...
As men go missing, explosive disasters and waste threaten lives, and mining towns threaten with large-scale destruction, International Rescue prepare for one of their most important assignments. The Thunderbirds are about to be stretched to their limits and go further than any of their crafts have ever been before. Stand by for blast off.
