Fluffles is born into a city pack of cats, a golden she-kit with black paws and yellow eyes, a black-tipped tail and ears and a black chest marking. When Lil, the group's leader, finds out that Fluffles is deaf, she intends to kill the kit-- to her, kill the weakness. Can a deaf kitten escape a full-grown and ruthless leader? We can only hope so.

When Flug finally wakes up he notices that Black hat is starting to be nicer, and putting up with him a little more.
