Idena Andrysiak teaches long division, sings songs about the days of the week, and brings extra granola bars to her classroom of third graders.
She is not the kind of person who gets hunted by mercenaries or ends up under government protection.

But when a building explodes near her and a very grumpy ex-assassin shows up to drag her out of the wreckage, Idena learns the hard way:
she's involved in something she doesn't understand.

And now she's stuck with the Thunderbolts.
